₦729 Billion for Power—Now Nigerians Want Results

  • Jul 22
  • 1 min read

The government plans to issue another ₦729 billion to settle debts owed to electricity generation companies.

If this helps stabilize the power sector, that's a good thing.

But Nigerians have heard promises about electricity for decades.

People don't measure success by the amount of money spent.

They measure it by whether the lights stay on.

I believe we has an opportunity to finally break the cycle of debt, bailouts, and disappointment.

Because every naira invested in electricity should produce one thing:

Reliable power.

Not another excuse.
