Whether you like Aliko Dangote or not, one thing is difficult to ignore.
He continues to invest billions of dollars in Nigeria.

Dangote Refinery has secured $2.5 billion through a private placement as it prepares for a possible public listing, attracting strong investor demand and reinforcing confidence in one of
Africa's largest industrial projects. (Reuters)
This is bigger than one company.
It raises an important question.
Why aren't more Nigerian and international investors making the same kind of long-term bets on our economy?
I believe Mr. President should see this as an opportunity to make Nigeria even more attractive for investment. Stable policies, reliable infrastructure, and regulatory certainty matter just as much as ambitious entrepreneurs.
One refinery cannot transform an economy on its own.
But thousands of businesses investing with confidence certainly can.
