Porn Is Raising More Nigerian Children Than We Realise

Pornography is no longer something hidden behind magazine covers.

Today, almost every teenager with a smartphone can access it within seconds.

That should concern all of us.

I'm not calling for censorship. I'm calling for honesty.

Many young Nigerians are learning about sex, relationships, and consent from pornography instead of from parents, schools, or trusted adults. That's a dangerous way to educate a generation.

If we don't have these conversations at home, the internet will have them for us.

I believe Nigeria needs to take digital education more seriously. Parents, teachers, and community leaders must stop pretending this isn't happening.

Ignoring pornography won't protect our children.

Talking about it just might.
